The MBA Master Golf Classic in support of Reading to Kids provides a high-quality, professional yet fun day of golf and networking for business alumni associations and supporters of Reading to Kids. For companies, the tournament offers an excellent advertising opportunity to reach thousands of Southern California residents. Proceeds from the tournament support Reading to Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

All sponsors will be recognized on our event website. The event will be promoted to Reading to Kids e-mail list of over 7,700 supporters in the Los Angeles area and to 35,000 business school alumni in Southern California. Participating schools include: Haas (UC Berkeley), Anderson (UCLA), Stanford GSB, Marshall (USC), Harvard (HBS), Kellogg (Northwestern), Wharton (Penn), Fuqua (Duke), Chicago GSB, Columbia GSB, Darden (UVA), Johnson (Cornell), Michigan, Sloan (MIT), Stern (NYU), Yale SOM, Graziadio (Pepperdine), and Beta Gamma Sigma (Honor Society).

The MBA Masters Golf Classic is the largest golf tournament in Southern California of its kind bringing together business school alumni from top-tier business schools. The primary objective of the respective alumni associations is to provide a high-quality, professional yet fun day of golf and networking. For companies, the tournament offers an excellent advertising opportunity to reach high income, highly educated business leaders throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Demographics: Male and female. Ages from 25 - 65. High income earners ($100,000+). Industries range from consulting, banking/finance, real estate, advertising, technology and internet. Mix of business owners, CEO’s, C-level, VP and Director level people.

Reach: 35,000 alumni located in Southern California and 7,700 supporters of Reading to Kids via website, email and other forms of outreach. On the day of event, more than 100 participants.

Proceeds: All proceeds above the cost of the tournament go to Reading to Kids. In-kind donations are greatly appreciated - all in-kind donations are used for a charity raffle which directly benefit Reading to Kids.

Prize or Raffle Item Donations (In Kind)

Reading to Kids is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of California and has been classified as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the federal Internal Revenue Code. The organization is exempt from both state and federal taxes.
